100 Miles Trail Ultra

100 miles, från Sjö till Hav, heading south from Mariefred the historic town on the banks of Lake Mälaren, crossing the region to the coastal village, Nävekvarn.

2800 vertical metres of climbing.

60% Trail, 30% Gravel, 10% Asphalt

The route is mainly single-track trail, wider farm trails and gravel roads with some sections of asphalt. Mainly following a network of pre-marked trails, Sörmlandsleden & Eriksgata.

Registration closes on Sunday August 31st at 23:59. Please note that the race might be full ahead of this time.

 

Start: 13:00, Friday September 5th, Mariefred, exact start point to be confirmed.

Race numbers: Collect your race number at the race centre in Nävekvarn Folkets Park between 8:30–10:00 or at the start in Mariefred 11:30–12:45. GPS trackers will be handed out to all runners at the race start.

  • The compulsory kit list is as follows:
    • Bottles or Bladder with capacity for 1 litre of liquid
    • Mobile phone with race director and medical team number saved
    • Some form of navigation tool, for example the app Min Karta. This is so that you can give a position in an emergency
    • First aid kit
    • Route Map*
    • Gps tracker*
    • Race number*
    • Emergency foil blanket or bivi bag
    • Rain jacket.
    • Head torch plus extra batteries/powerbank (or an extra headlamp) 
    • A small red light to be attached to the back of your pack after dark

    However, we also recommend the following:
    • Spare long sleeve top base layer
    • Whistle
    • Hat or buff and gloves
    • Emergency food 500cal (eg 2 Snickers)
    • Cup, The race is cupless which means you must bring a cup with you if you want any hot drinks along the way
    • Emergency money or card

    We are a small organization and as the course is quite long and often hard to access by car, it may take several hours between the time you decide to drop out and the time we can pick you up. Please prepare your kit so that you can keep warm and dry if this situation should occur.
